Do you need to know the whether a Nova Scotia company is in good standing with its filings and is a valid and subsisting company?  You would determine this by ordering a Certificate of Status.  The Certificate of Status will indicate the current name of the company, the date of incorporation and confirmation that it has been registered as a company in Nova Scotia.
