Sole Proprietorship Registration

Please complete the following questionnaire to purchase the registration of a Sole Proprietorship.

This service is for individuals living in Canada.  If you wish to register a partnership with foreign partners contact us and we will provide you with more details.

PreClearance of Name

You will be allowed to provide us with three proposed choices of name for one sole proprietorship registration.  We will preclear all names provided and let you know which are available for use so you can make the final decision.

Province/Timing

You will be requested to choose a province which will include the government fee for the registration. Some provinces require a name search report and there is an option to purchase a report.  If you have your own report you can upload it.

lberta - NUANS report not required (1-2 days)
British Columbia - BC Name Search Report required (14-25 days)(NOTE:  BC provides expedited service for $100 more.)
Manitoba - Name Search Report is required (2-4 days)
New Brunswick - NUANS report required (2 days)
Ontario - NUANS report not required (1-2 day)
Saskatchewan - SK name search report required (8-10 days)
