What Will A Certificate of Compliance Show:

• Confirmation that the company exists
• Statute of Incorporation
• Confirmation that the company has filed all of its federal annual returns with Corporations Canada
• Confirmation that the company has paid all required fees to Corporations Canada

What Will A Certificate of Existence Show:

• Confirmation that the corporation exists under the legislation
• Three options are allowed:
  • A certificate confirming status as of the current date
  • A certificate confirming status as of a specific earlier date
  • A certificate confirming status during a specific period of time
