Register a Foreign LLC in Canada

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE PURCHASING:

GOVERNMENT FEE: The above price is the fee for preparing the documents.  When you complete the questionnaire you will be requested to choose the province in which you wish to register. That option will provide the additional government cost.

AGENT FOR SERVICE:  Except for Ontario, you will be required to have an individual living in the province in which you are registering act as agent for service to receive correspondence.  If you do not have a person then you must purchase this service.  There will be an option to do this during the purchase process. This is an annual fee.

ONTARIO ADDRESS:  Even though not required, if you wish an Ontario address where correspondence can be sent there is an option below.  This is an annual fee.

ONTARIO REGISTRATION:  If you are planning on registering your LLC in Ontario please be advised that the company must operate under its registered LLC name.  It cannot operate under an operating trade name in Ontario.

EXPEDITED OR PRIORITY SERVICE

Most governments will perform the registrations on a first come first serve basis.  In some cases, there is an extra fee that you can pay in order to obtain priority service. 

IN BRITISH COLUMBIA IT TAKES 3 TO 4 WEEKS TO OBTAIN A NAME CLEARANCE.  IT ALSO TAKES AN ADDITIONAL  2 TO 3 WEEKS TO HAVE AN APPLICATION PROCESSED.  IF YOU WISH YOUR REGISTRATION TO BE DONE FASTER YOU MUST CHOOSE BRITISH COLUMBIA EXPEDITED SERVICE. 

ALBERTA - IN ORDER TO REGISTER IN ALBERTA YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A LEGAL OPINION.  WE DO NOT DO THESE REGISTRATIONS BUT WILL BE GLAD TO PROVIDE YOU WITH MORE INFORMATION ABOUT HOW TO DO THIS. 

WHAT TO EXPECT:  We will provide you with a pdf copy of your registration by email and the original by Express Post.  Timing varies per province from a week to two weeks.
